Gone But Not Forgotten
This page is dedicated to the Places in Las Vegas that while they may not be there anymore, still exist in our memory. As we find photos or postcards, we will post them along with info about the buildings and businesses:

Trampps nightclub, I think was West Flamingo. Used to go there all the time. Ditto Shark's nightclib which was kinda out by the airport? Harmon maybe? Don't know exactly!
A friend of mine founded Tropicana Pizza at Trop and Maryland - he was a young guy, but he died a few years back. His name was Azzam and he had a brother named Bilal.
I saw someone mention Valley Auto Upholstery lol which is funny because I did end up going there because of those stupid commercials!
Ask Mr Foster travel!
One time, I lived at The Mark 1 highrise on Desert Inn and they had a great restaurant called the Cloister.
Also, remember Fred - IF I CAN FINANCE HIM AND I VEEL! From GMF Motors on Boulder Highway.
Garcia's Restaurant. Cafe Michelle (is that still there?) on Flamingo and Maryland I think?
Imperial Palace, which was ALWAYS a dump.
I worked at a radio station, 97.1 KYRK, Power 97! I also worked at KLUC for like one day, it was the day they were switching to CDs and I couldnt do it.
Hacienda Hotel, my friend Chris Lowden's dad owned it and I think they owned the Sahara too. Chris had a suite at the Hacienda with a super huge screen that we would watch.
I was there when Tupac was murdered by the Chevrom on Flamingo.
And I lived at Club Pacific at the Lakes (9325 West Desert Inn) when it was first built and my apartment looked out towards Red Rock and there was literally nothing west of me at all. Nothing!
Does anyone remember Ned Day from KLAS? He was friends with Sue Lowden, also from KLAS and she was married to my friend's dad who owned the hotels. Ned Day had decided to clean up his act, stop drinking and change his diet, he died shortly thereafter from a heart attack I think. And this was right after the Spilotro's were murdered.
Just can't believe how much it has grown!
Still miss old style Vegas. The Daydream Ranch was located on the corner of Warm Springs and Eastern Ave which is now all shopping centers and residential housing. Right up/down the street was Palm Mortuary which I believe is still there, also Sunset Park still there.....forever in memory ...Bonnie Springs Ranch...
RIP Gert June 2016
Thankyou
Stuckey's on Boulder highway- Salt Water Taffy and the Swanky Club smorgasboard also on Boulder highway. PJ Bottoms shake your booty dance contest. Skaggs and SS Kresges(spelling)-pizza den at Charleston Plaza Mall.
