Yeah. Nothing in the world replaces a dad who is also a friend. You were lucky to have time to say goodbye. Your prose on his departure has been inspired and heart rending. Like Emily Dickenson said: "Home is so far from home since my father died." Hang on, it doesn't get much easier, my friend. I feel your loss. Been there too.
