CSI: Las Vegas gets Laurence Fishburne

I know it's not our usual news but I've been a fan of the show from the beginning.  I was worried when it was announced that William Peterson would be leaving the show later this year but was heartened by the news that two good friends who were writers on "Battlestar Galatica" would be joining the staff as well.  I hope to have an on-line interview with a couple of the writers once the season debuts.

In the meantime, the Associated Press has announced that Laurence Fishburne will be replacing William Petersen.

Fishburne will portray a forensics scientist with a secret.

The air date for Petersen's final episode has yet to be determined but will be early next year.

Laurence Fishburne is 10 out of 10 for the series. Perfect in single word, not to meant to replace William Petersen but has own touch regarding to the series.
