I have been reading different things about July 4th in Vegas.....are there any fireworks on the strip??? We'll be arriving on the 3rd and we've all been there before but never for the 4th...we just didn't want to miss anything special.

The Strip does not usually do fireworks displays for the 4th of July.
However, that said, the Las Vegas Hilton did last year and for a number of years the Stratosphere did as well.
I have not found any info anywhere that the hotels are having fireworks displays but I will continue to update the 2008 July 4th celebrations page as more info becomes available.
