Stayed at the Kona Kai in 1976 . Can anyone tell me exactly what is on that site today ? I have a memory of walking from the Kona Kai to the Hacienda ( which I think is where Mandalay Bay is now) . What side of the strip was the Kona Kai on ? Thank you .

The Kona Kai was on the east side of the Strip near the Hacienda.
It later became the site of the Klondike.
It is now an empty lot awaiting development.
