What happened to the time capsule that was burried in 1953 when the Sands Hotel in Las vegas was demolished?

I was an apprentice sheet metal worker in 2003. When the Wynn was being built. At the time it was to be named the Le Reve. Anyway, I don't know what happened to time capsule, but for months it sat right behind the construction trailers. Then one day it was gone. I could see the plate clearly.
