I recently purchased a home in The McNeil Estates, and was wondering where I could potentially find more information, photos, literature... regarding the neighborhood as a whole.

I have investigated the UNLV Special Collections Dept; however, as they are presently digitizing their collection, its next to impossible to return a positive hit.

I would recommend contacting the Nevada State Museum, Las Vegas. They should be able to help you!

I lived in one of the 1st houses built there from 1950-1961
at that time the Address was 1200 Campbell dr. that particular house was torn down and a newer home with an Ashby address was reassigned to it. Though any pictures of that time have long since vanished, feel free to ask me questions about the history & people who lived there in those years.
