Great American Auctions has announced the following auction dates:
Nevada Landing which closed after 18 years, items from the hotel/casino will be auctioned off on
July 17th at 11:00 am
The New Frontier Hotel, which closed after 65 years, items from the hotel/casino will be auctioned off on:
July 31st at 10:00 am

Looks like the residents of Jean, Goodsprings and Sandy Valley are getting a reprieve of sorts on having their idyllic lifestyles over-run with development.
MGM-Mirage and American Nevada Corporation have out the developement of Jean on the back burner due to the slumping real estate market in Southern Nevada.
